The Mayfair Treasure Trail

This summer The Morris Singer Foundry x The Covent Gardener have created an extraordinary opportunity for you to win a freshly minted limited edition bronze coin worth £250 when you solve the six Rebuses (left), which will reveal the name of an element.

There are ten bronze coins to be won and they are a staggering 50mm in diameter. These coins are a recreation of a nineteenth century Covent Garden Market Token used by the traders, known as tallies. These future collectables have been especially cast for us at The Morris Singer Foundry – the oldest in the world (more about the Foundry over in The Mayfarer). The originals were discovered by leading mudlarker and regular contributor Jason Sandy.

Each of the six rebuses discloses a location in Covent Garden. Within the location take the highlighted letter on the map and put the 6 letters together to reveal the name of the prize-winning Element. (The map at the back of the magazine can help you find the answers.)
